The PGA will travel to Cairo, Egypt later today on a bilateral visit. While in Cairo she will meet His Excellency Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Pope Twadros II of the Coptic Church of Alexandria, amongst other senior political and civic leaders. She will also meet His Excellency Hamdi Loza, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

 

While in Egypt, the PGA will also attend a lunch hosted by the National Council of Women under the title of the; ‘Empowerment of Women: Challenges and Opportunities’ and deliver a lecture at Cairo University, titled; ‘Multilateralism in a Changing World’.

 

The PGA’s delegation includes her Chef de Cabinet, a senior adviser, a coordination officer and a communications adviser, as well as her special assistant.
